Working with Zeus AI: Ticket Management

Last updated September 12, 2026

Overview

Zeus AI acts as a real-time co-pilot directly within Atlas and connected platforms (for example: Zendesk, Intercom, Front, Jira...) to streamline support workflows. Designed to eliminate repetitive manual tasks, Zeus AI drafts customer responses and executes background actions based on your team's configured protocols, connected tools, voice and tone profiles, and strict guardrails.

How Zeus AI Works for Agents

  •  Knowledge & Tone Profiles: Zeus AI searches connected data sources to draft responses tailored to your team's established brand voice, style, and tone rules.
  • Automated Tools & Webhooks: When specific ticket conditions are met, Zeus AI uses connected APIs and tools to automatically trigger actions—such as updating ticket status, reassigning priority, or fetching account details—directly within your workflow.
  • Protocols & Guardrails: Configured safety boundaries ensure Zeus AI operates strictly within policy. Protocols define approved step-by-step resolution paths, while guardrails prevent unauthorized actions or out-of-scope answers.
  • Contextual Triggers: Suggestions automatically generate whenever a customer sends a message. If an agent starts typing or enters a draft, Zeus AI pauses new suggestions until the next customer reply.
  • Fallback & Escalation: If Zeus AI cannot find a matching answer, lacks sufficient confidence, or encounters an issue outside its guardrails, it will not suggest a response. Instead, it seamlessly escalates the ticket directly to the human agent for manual handling.

How to use Zeus AI

  1.  1. Locate the "Suggested response by Zeus" box in the ticket interface. Drag or click the vertical bar to review the full draft.
  2. Select an action:
  • "Use suggestion": Inserts the generated response into your message composer. You can freely edit or fine-tune the text before sending.
  • "Ignore suggestion": Closes the suggestion panel and discards the draft. Discarded suggestions cannot be recovered by the agent for that message turn.
  1. Once the text is in the composer, make any final adjustments to ensure it fits the situation, then send your message to the customer.
