How to use Smart Assist in replies

Overview

Smart Assist is Atlas's AI writing help in the reply box. It can write a new version of your reply, fix spelling and grammar, change the tone, or translate the reply into another language before you send it.

Key Features

  • Generate new response: Get a different version of the same reply. Shortcut: "Ctrl+Alt+N".
  • Fix spelling & grammar: Correct your reply in one click. Shortcut: "Alt+G".
  • Change tone: Make the reply sound like you ("My tone of voice"), "More professional" or "More friendly".
  • Translate: Translate the reply into another language.
  • Open the menu: Press "Alt+J" or click the Smart Assist icon in the reply box.

How to use Smart Assist

  1. Open a ticket and write your reply, or start from a suggested reply.
  2. Click the Smart Assist icon in the reply box, or press "Alt+J".
  3. Select an option:
  • Generate new response: Atlas writes another version. Click it again to get more versions.
  • Fix spelling & grammar: Atlas corrects the text in the reply box.
  • Change tone: Select "My tone of voice", "More professional" or "More friendly".
  • Translate: Select the language you want.
  1. Read the result and edit anything you want to change.
  2. Click "Send".
Important:
Smart Assist only changes the text in your reply box. Nothing is sent until you click "Send".

FAQs & Troubleshooting

Can I undo a Smart Assist change?

Edit the text directly in the reply box, or select another Smart Assist option to try again.

I don't see the Smart Assist icon.

Smart Assist depends on your Atlas plan. Ask your Admin.
