How to manage your profile settings
Last updated October 8, 2026
Overview
Your profile settings control how you show up in Atlas and how Atlas works for you. From your profile page you can add a profile picture, update your first and last name, add a job title, change your email, set your time zone, choose an interface theme, turn keyboard shortcuts on or off, see your Slack or Discord connection and reset your password.
Profile settings are per user: each teammate configures their own profile, and changes do not affect anyone else in the workspace. A complete profile makes tickets feel more personal for customers and helps teammates know exactly who they are working with.
Key Features
- Profile picture: Upload a photo from your device or from a link (URL), then crop it before saving.
- Name and job title: Your first and last name are shown to teammates and customers across Atlas. Your job title is added automatically to your email signature.
- Time zone: Atlas uses your time zone to timestamp tickets and messages.
- Interface theme: Choose "Light", "Dark" or "System preference".
- Keyboard shortcuts: Turn hotkeys such as Command K on or off.
- Slack and Discord: Connect your Slack or Discord account when your workspace uses those channels.
- Email change: Change the email address on your account after you confirm your identity.
- Password reset: Request an email with a secure link to set a new password.

FAQs & Troubleshooting
My changes were not kept. Why?
Make sure you clicked "Save" at the bottom of the page and saw the "Updated your profile details" message.
Where does my job title appear?
Atlas adds your "Job title" to your email signature automatically.
What does "System preference" do in the theme setting?
It matches the Atlas theme to your device settings, switching between light and dark as your device does.
Why do ticket timestamps look wrong?
Check your "Time zone". Atlas uses it to timestamp tickets and messages.
Do my profile settings affect other teammates?
No. Profile settings are per user and only change your own account.
I did not receive the email to verify my new address. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder, then click "Re-send confirmation link" on the "Verify email address" screen.
I did not receive the reset password email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder. The link is valid for a limited time only, so if it has expired, click "Reset password" again.
